Parent/Guardians,
Do you need assistance to help provide food for your students during the summer months?
Summer EBT is a new program that provides nutritious food to eligible students in the summer months when they are not in school.
Who is eligible for Summer EBT?
Students who may be eligible for Summer EBT include:
- Those who qualify for free or reduced-price meals while attending a school participating in the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program
- Those who are receiving other assistance benefits, including SNAP and Colorado Works. You may qualify through Medicaid if your income is within the National School Lunch guidelines.
How do I get Summer EBT?
Many families will automatically receive Summer EBT if their student qualifies for free or reduced-price school meals or if they participate in SNAP, Medicaid or Colorado Works.
An EBT card will be mailed to each eligible student. To prepare for this, make sure your student's school has a current address and parent/guardian information. If you are receiving SNAP, Colorado Works or Medicaid, make sure your case has a current address on file.
When will Summer EBT be available?
Summer EBT payments will begin being sent in summer 2025. If you are approved for benefits you will receive a notice of action stating approval and a card will be mailed to you shortly after. No action is needed.
How much will I receive?
You will receive a single payment of $120 for each eligible child in your family.

BUS Information:
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Thank you for choosing Woodland Park School District to partner with you for your student's education.
Recently the WPSD has experienced a cost increase in transportation services. It has become necessary for the district to increase bus service fees for the 2024/2025 school year.
The new Bus Fee structure per household is as follows:
$75 total for a single student in a household
$125 total for two students in a household
$150 total for three or more students in a household
If you haven't already, and would like to register your student for bus services, please contact Patty Harrison at pharrison@wpsdk12.org
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the district office.

IMPORTANT NOTICE to PARENT/GUARDIANS:
Although all students will receive one breakfast and one lunch daily during scheduled school days at no cost to families, it’s very important for households to fill out the Meal Benefits Application form in the parent portal to ensure school fees (including Bus fees, Course fees, Activity fee, Athletic fees, etc) are assessed correctly. It also ensures that Columbine Elem, Summit Elem, Woodland Park Middle School, Woodland Park High School and Merit Academy receive state and federal funding, which helps to cover the cost of meals and support after-school activities and other nutritional programs for all students.
